The Associate, Property Management will be responsible managing multiple properties within a specified market/region. This role will coordinate with third-party property management and accounting providers on major projects, as well as company and customer initiatives. This individual will also oversee and collaborate across several general areas of the property management function, including property accounting, lease administration oversight and reporting and coordination oversight while ensuring ensures consistency across the market(s). This person will serve as the primary point of contact for property management communications, escalating issues as necessary. The candidate will be required to execute these responsibilities accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure that service delivery meets Modlo’s performance and quality standards.
Summary of responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all customers, vendors, and third-party property management and accounting providers while being proactive and responsive to both property managers’ and customers’ needs and requests.
- Work with third-party property managers and accounting teams to ensure accountability for the property revenues and expenses and to ensure that the budget and financial goals are met.
- Assist internal and external teams in developing comprehensive capital improvement schedules for each property.
- Support Modlo Leasing team in achieving occupancy goals by exercising superior customer service and relationship management, as well as ensuring vacancies/marketable spaces are up to Modlo standards.
- Work with internal and external teams to help facilitate the lease administration process, including management of timely lease entries and updates, coordination with third-party property managers on move-ins and move-outs, and more while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university combined with 3-5 years of property management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to provide superior internal and external customer service, strong diplomacy, and crisis management skills.
- Must be able to consistently maintain a professional demeanor.
- Must be able to multi-task, manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and have a strong attention to detail.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), particularly Excel.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including an aptitude for creating, composing, and editing written materials.
- Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.

- YARDI software experience preferred
